Cookie policy
What a cookie is
A small file that a website stores in your browser. At weddea we use the essential ones the website needs to work and, only if you accept them, Meta's, to find out whether our ads work.
The party responsible for them is Juan José Pérez Barbancho (“Barpes Tech”), Spanish tax ID (NIF) 50614458Z: hola@weddea.com.
Necessary
They don't ask for permission: the website doesn't work without them.
- weddea_cookies — remembers what you chose in the cookie notice. 12 months.
- Your session cookie (sb-…-auth-token) — so we don't ask for your password on every screen. Until you sign out.
- b360_… and weddea_… — which wedding you're looking at, stopping the screen from showing out-of-date data, and the notices on this device. Up to 12 months.
We also store small preferences in your browser, such as which notices you've already seen. They don't leave your device.
Visit measurement
We count visits with Vercel's analytics, without cookies and without identifying you: only which screen was viewed, never the actual address. It doesn't need permission.
Marketing, only if you accept
- _fbp (Meta's, on our domain) — recognises your browser so we know whether a weddea ad on Instagram or Facebook led to a visit or a sign-up. 90 days.
- _fbc (Meta's, on our domain) — the same when you arrive from an ad. 90 days.
- Those from facebook.com — if you're signed in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta may link the visit to your account, under its own policy. They are set by Meta.
If you accept, we also tell Meta from our server about a few moments: that you viewed a page or a guide, that you created your account, that you created your wedding and that you sent your first invitation. With them go your IP address, your browser and, when you create the account, your email address and your name turned into an irreversible code (SHA-256 hash), which Meta can only compare with the ones it already has.
We never tell it anything about your wedding or your guests, and nothing is sent from the invitations your guests receive or from the iPhone and Android apps.
How to change your mind
Whenever you like, under «Cookies», at the foot of the website. If you withdraw permission, we stop sending anything to Meta and delete _fbp and _fbc from your browser. You can also delete cookies from your browser settings.
